Muslim Aid invites you to join hands with Disable Children during our Ramadan 1435 (2014) Campaign (Give your Share to show your Care for Disabled)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahumathullahi Wabarakathuhu!

We at Muslim Aid pray that this finds you with the best of health and Imaan. I would like to congratulate you on the arrival of Holy Month of Ramadan 1435. Once again in this month of sacrifice, in which the weakness of our bodies elevates our spiritual state, the pangs of hunger invite a remembrance of the One, the Compassionate, we remember and are urged to remember those who are less fortunate than us, the poor, the needy, the vulnerable. During the time of Ramadan, we remember their rights upon us and our responsibilities towards them.

Last year Ramadan 1434 (2013), Muslim Aid Sri Lanka started the project of supporting and empowering poor families consist of disable members. Alhamdhulillah we could serve around 75 families in Mullaitivu, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Colombo districts with the generosity of our donors. We helped them for their livelihood and income generation activities to stand their own and generate income.

We found there is a huge need and large numbers of families with disable member/s are facing severe hardship to earn small amount per a days for their day today living expenses, mainly in Colombo slums areas. Therefore, we kindly request you to be a part of this worthy cause to serve needy disables in this Ramadan 1435 (2014) as well, Inshaa Allah.
