Islamic Finance Today e-magazine

Islamic Finance Today, the exclusive Islamic Banking and Finance Magazine commenced publication as a monthly in digital format from January 2015 and has since made rapid inroads into the industry.

IFT was published both as a monthly and quarterly from 2006 to 2010 in print form and enjoyed much popularity in the industry at its height. So much so that a research report titled Islamic Finance and Economics as Reflected in Research and Publications by Dr.Nazim Ali of Harvard Law School (2008) listed Islamic Finance Today as one of six Popular Islamic Finance Journals, alongside others such as Islamic Banker, Shirkah Islamic Business and Finance Investor’s Magazine, Business Islamica and Islamic Business & Finance.

IFT has also been cited as a primary source of information in Reports such as Islamic Finance 2009 compiled by Islamic Financial Services London (IFSL).

The e-version which is now available for free downloading as a service to the industry delivers a mix of exclusive articles by the leading scholars in the field, interviews with prominent personalities, industry trends, news, views and events. This all-new e-version edited by its founder editor-in-chief Asiff Hussein plans to reach a large number of industry professionals with its reader-friendly format, rich and varied content and up-to-date, thought-provoking information for investment savvy readers looking for a fresh approach and new perspectives on the developments and growth potential of the industry.

Since its launch as an e-version early this year a number of leading scholars have contributed papers or interviews, among them Rushdi Siddiqui, David Vicary, Joy Abdullah, Shakeeb Saqlain, Abdelilah Belatik Paul Mc.Namara, Sayd Farook, Shafiq Jakhura, Farrukh Habib, Muniruddin Lalmahmood, Furqan Ahmed and Rosie Kmeid. 

Two more features, MIT Talks and the Big Question were also recently added. MIT Talks is a brief video presentation incorporated into the magazine as part of its multi-media drive and has featured leading industry personalities like Sheikh Bashir Al Amine, Dr.Burhan Arbouna and Mohammed Ikram Thowfeek.
