Muslim Aid is an International relief and development agency working to alleviate the suffering among the world's poorest and most needy communities regardless of race, creed or nationality. Muslim Aid deploys long-term development projects on education, skills training, to tackle the root causes of poverty.
 
Muslim Aid Sri Lanka Field Office is looking for enthusiastic and qualified persons for the following positions;
 
Technical Officer – Colombo
(with frequent travel to project areas)
 
Required Qualifications & Experience;

• Bsc Civil Eng, HNDE / NDT or equivalent
• Proven experience in infrastructure development (Houses, buildings, WATSAN & public health)
• Experience working/living in a physically challenging environment, and travelling to remote locations;
• Knowledge of MS Office products and AutoCAD
• A valid Motor bike license

 
Food Security & Livelihood Officer –
(Mannar, Horowpathana)
 
Required Qualifications & Experience;

• BSc. in Agriculture or Agriculture Diploma from a reputed Institute
• Minimum 1 year experience in the relevant field.
• Experience working/living in a physically challenging environment, and travelling to remote locations;
• Knowledge of MS Office products
• A valid Motor bike license

 
Above positions require communication skills in Sinhala /Tamil and English, administrative skills, organizational and presentation skills with ability to multi-task, competence in the use of ICT, including internet.
